The culvert replacement on Razorback Road has been completed and the road is now opened back up.

Due to a culvert replacement, on Monday, September 16, 2019, access to Razorback Road (in Sayner), beyond Schneider Road, including Camp Highland Road and Rearing Pond Road, will be closed. An alternate route is available by taking Razorback Road to Star Lake and vice versa. Work may not be completed in one day and may extend into Tuesday. Please plan accordingly.
The September Town Board Meeting has been moved to Tuesday, September 17th, at 6:30 pm.
Request for Proposals - Timber Harvest
The Town of Plum Lake is seeking proposals to log 34 acres of town property located on Highway N at T41N, R08E, Section 34. The estimated total harvest is 475 cords of various species of wood. To request a copy of the Timber Sale Establishment Contract (Timber Harvest Map), please contact Town Clerk Sharon Brooker at (715) 542-4531 or (715) 892-7049 or stop at the Town Hall Office located at 8755 Lake Street in Sayner. You may also email the town office at office@townofplumlake.com. Timber Harvest proposals must be submitted to the town office or to PO Box 280, Sayner, WI 54560 by 4:00 pm on Monday, August 19, 2019.

The June Town Board Meeting will be moved forward one week to be held on the THIRD Tuesday of June, the 18th.
Vilas County Highway Department will be removing road limits on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 10:00 am.
The Plum Lake Road Limits will be removed at the same time.

The two candidates with the highest number of votes will move on to the Spring Election to be held on April 2, 2019.
Congratulations to Vernon Wiggenhauser and Katie Mortag.
Also congratulations to Plum Lake residents - we had 185 out of 427 registered voters, a 43% turnout!
There will be a primary election held on Tuesday, February 19th in the Town of Plum Lake. On the ballot will be the referendum question for the Northland Pines School District.
There is also a three-way race between incumbent Supervisor Vernon Wiggenhauser and challengers Norman Rasmussen II and Katie Mortag. The top two vote-getters will move on to the April election.
